What we do  To what end  How we do 
1) Estimating the study costs and product costs.  Provide the customer with a forecast of study costs, product costs, prototyping costs and end product cost. The quote is usually divided into the phases of first prototype, pre production samples and industrialization costs, and the cost of a single piece in function of quantity.  Using historical data from the company database, we obtain the materials and implant costs. With a dedicated software that automatically extract the design and production time data from similar projects, we can integrate the costs offering a reliable forecast. 
2) Preliminary analysis of the projects and check of similar products on the market.  Evaluation with the customer of the best technology to adopt to obtain the more effective product performance based on the market segment selected.  Using our 20 years experience in design, evaluating the technologies available in Redox, analyzing the competitors products when necessary. 
3) Patent consulting.  Provide the customer with a service of patent search to verify if a technology or an innovative project have already been patented. We also suggest to the customer what to patent in the project in progress.  Using our investigation experience in worldwide patent databases. During the patenting phase, we take advantage of out experience in patent operations. 
4) Project critical phases simulation.  Virtual design. Quickly verify the compliance of critical parts of the circuit by means of CAD systems.  Using electro-magnet simulators, spice simulators and logic simulators for electonic circuits.
For dimensional analysis and positioning of the various elements, we use SW for mechanical design, integrated with software for PCB creation.  For dimensional and positioning analisys of circuit elements, we use mechanical designs CADs integrated with PCB design sofware.
5) Thermal analysis.  Avoid overheating in parts of the circuit subjected to heat dissipation, optimizing the flow of heat in the various circuit elements, analysis of production processes.  Theoretical analysis of thermal simulation with dedicated sofware.

6) Analog circuits design.  The processing of audio, video and physical quantities, as required by the project and verified by simulations as described in 4).  Using the expertise of our workers, steadily informed on new components and processes available on the market.
Using suitable electronic instrumentation such as digital oscilloscopes, function generators, digital multimeters, audio analyzers, test set, etc. 
7) Radio-frequency circuit design.  To realize radio-frequency communication systems of different use, with data transmission, audio and video in analog and digital mode with data encryption possibility. Moreover, GPS tracking mobile network connection with the latest technologies.  Throughout the remarkable experience of Redox and the large number of projects done, we can obtain customer best fitted communication systems.
Aided by the large number of electronic tools available, such as spectrum and network analyzers, signal generators, protocol and modulation analyzers, measurement antennas, frequency and precision reference as well as software support and automation for the needed measures. 
8) Power electronic design.  To design power devices as professional battery-charger, switching power supply, high power inverters, inverters for photovoltaic or eolic energy, high power switching audio amplifiers.  Experience and quantity of project done, are certainly helpful in power electronics design. A high number of tools and equipment makes also possible the development of truly innovative projects.
Our toolset includes digital oscilloscopes equipped with high voltage differential probes, high power current probes, digital voltage and current high-precision meters, automated measurement systems, high power lab power supplies. 
9) Digital electronic design.  To digitally process the signals of point 6), according to the project constrains.
To implemente the user interface, the communication protocols, the memory managment and anything else necessary for the realization of the project. 
Using discrete electronic circuits, dedicated circuits, CPLDs, computers, microprocessors, and peripherals. 
10) Software and firmware development.  To manage and operate what described in point 9) and to interface the electronic system to PCs with configuration and supervision functions. We are able to interconnect intelligent devices using the most recent protocols such IOT, cloud servers ecc. Using the most commons programming languages and IDEs (C, Visual Basic, GCC ecc.) both last generation operating systems (Linux and Windows), and microcontrollers or embedded devices with. 
11) Tests plan.  Concordate with the customer how to test the product in a comprehensive way to correct software bugs, project criticity and possible mass production problems.  Taking advantage of Redox's experience in device testing problems and using the large amount of measurement tools available to analyze the product in different operating conditions. 
12) Pre-compliance analysis.  To preliminarly evaluate the product's compliance to various international standards (CE, FCC, RED, etc.) and remove the criticity for future approvals.  The Redox's experience in EMI interference analysis and electrichal security, togheter with adequate electronic instrumentation, allows to our designed devices to pass the homologations at first attempt in more than 90% of cases. 
13) Pre-production samples.  When the customer approves the first product sample, it is essential to produce some pre-production samples to verify the production and test systems, packeging and product user instructions.  Using the production's machinery (SMD line, wave soldering, final assembly line) and the experience of the production staffto avoid any surprises at the time of mass production.  The X-ray inspection machine allows us to evaluate the quality of soldering granting the good manufacturing of the product.
14) Automated test set.  For high quantity or high complexity devices, an automated, computer-controlled test set is strongly recommended. This allows considerable money saving and better product quality.  Using our proprietary hardware and software platform, which allows the testing of signal circuits, radio frequency, power and logic circuits, all in one system.
The product tracking and our detailed test-result database, allow a constant quality and production process monitoring.
